The Treasury Analyst will support the Treasury Manager, be a key member of the Treasury and Accounting team, and will be responsible for a variety of activities within the functional areas.
The primary role of this position will be to perform certain accounting functions, daily cash management, and specific debt related functions for Corporate, numerous regulated utilities, and unregulated businesses in four different states.
In addition, this position will be responsible for the following:
• Write journal entries for daily cash transactions for four separate entities
• Assist with month-end close process including the reconciliation of cash transactions
• Perform daily cash management functions, including entering wire/ACH transfers
• Maintain daily cash spreadsheet and reconcile to bank on a daily basis
• Process line of credit borrowing and pay down transactions as needed
• Update and maintain debt file on a daily basis
• Clear checks in SAP for multiple entities
• Act as main back up to Treasury Manager for most Treasury functions
• Assist Treasury Manager, Corporate Controller, and CFO with special projects as needed
• Provide recommendations for improving department functions and daily tasks based on best practices
• Occasional overnight travel to various utility locations
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• 3-5 years Accounting or Treasury experience required, preferably in a multi-entity corporate environment
• Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Must have legal right to work in the United States

Computer Skills
• Experience working with banking software platforms/applications; Bank of America CashPro and PNC Pinacle experience a plus
• Experience working with SAP preferred
• Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) with advanced knowledge of Excel required
